Transform a Record Type

To transform a record type:

  1. Click the Element Details tab.
  2. Scroll down to and expand the Data Transformations section.
  3. Click Configure Record Type Transformations.
  4. Select Source Record Type and Destination Record Type pairs to specify remappings.
    • Source Record Type displays the record types in the source org available for deployment. These values are available:
      • Blank Record Type – Instructs Release to set the destination record type to the Destination Record Type whenever the source record type is blank.
      • All Remaining Record Types – Instructs Release to set the destination record type to the Destination Record Type whenever the source record type is a source record type you have not individually specified for transformation.
      • Values from the source record types – Instructs Release to set the destination record type to the Destination Record Type whenever the source record type matches the Source Record Type.
    • Destination Record Type specifies the record type in the destination org to deploy the associated Source Record Type to.
  5. Click Close.
  6. Click Save.
