The Releases feature allows you to group multiple bundles into a single deployment event for better planning, tracking, and governance of your changes.
What is a Release?
A Release is a container for multiple Bundles that you want to deploy together in a controlled and trackable way. You can plan, finalize, and monitor deployments all in one place.
How to Create a Release
You can create a new release from the Releases tab in the side navigation.
- Click “Create Release”.
- Give your release a name and begin in Draft status.
- Add one or more bundles to the release.
- Validate your Release in Draft status.
- Once everything is ready, mark the release as Final.
Note: Once a release is marked Final, it becomes locked and can no longer be edited.
Deploying a Release
- After finalizing a release, it becomes available for deployment.
- Each bundle in the release is deployed one by one, in the order you specified.
- If any bundle fails, deployment of subsequent bundles will stop automatically.
- This ensures release integrity and prevents partial or broken deployments.
You can clone an existing release to:
- Reuse its structure
- Make minor adjustments
- Deploy an updated version
Cloning creates a new release in Draft status, so you can safely modify and finalize it again.
Tracking Release Results
You can view the results of a release deployment at any time:
- Go to the History tab in the side navigation.
- Click into the Releases tab.
- You’ll see a list of all release executions, along with their status.
Click on any individual release result to:
- View deployment status and history
- Access direct links to each deployed bundle
- See which bundle(s) succeeded or failed
