Summary

With each release, Prodly strives to improve our product and deliver the results and features our users need to make their work easier and more efficient. Our release notes are available to our users to review our most anticipated feature releases including requests and suggestions provided by our customers and updates on our latest bug fixes. 

What we are most excited about

Highlights from our latest release

  • Releases (Bundles of Bundles)
    • Users can now package multiple bundles up into a single Release
    • Releases can be modified as drafts until the Release is finalized then no further modifications are allowed
    • Releases can be validated and deployed and the results can be observed in the Deployment History tab
  • Metadata Dependency Management
    • When selecting a component users can now see the hard and soft dependencies of that component to ensure all necessary dependencies are included in the deployment to avoid failures
    • Users can use the ‘Check for Dependencies’ button to search for dependencies
  • NextGen Data Processing Enhancements
    • Relationship order processing is now supported
    • Deploy After Relationship is now supported
    • Text ID Mapping is now supported

    • Users can now use the Automated Regression Testing tool to run regression tests on Advanced Approvals

Bug Fixes & Enhancements

Latest fixes and updates

  • PM-8050 Error will no longer appear when no components are selected and compare is set to File view in the metadata comparison table
  • PM-7925 When switching to the Query Builder view on the Query override no error messages will appear
  • PM-7917 No error will appear when scheduling Tests to run
  • PM-7902 Accounts will no longer fail when Person Accounts are enabled in source/destination and NextGen is used for the deployment
  • PM-7834 Records updated with Standard Upsert when deploying with NextGen will only appear once in the Deployment Results
  • PM-7806 Error message added for failed comparisons so users know they will not be able to create a bundle off of a failed comparison
  • PM-7764 Updates made to subcomponents should appear in the metadata diff viewer when running a comparison between branches
  • PM-7626 When deploying with from an org to a branch, the activity will show the correct number of records processed
  • PM-7371 When deploying with NextGen and events are deactivated, the activity will show the events being reactivated
  • PM-7296 When deploying with NextGen the activity will show the correct number of records processed
