To customize a data set:
- From the Data Sets main page, click the Data Set row from the All Datasets list or from one of the two Recently Used Data Sets by clicking on View Data Set.
- Make your adjustments and exit the editor once done.
The Next-Gen Data Set Editor automatically saves changes.
View and Edit a Data Set
To view and/or edit a data set:
- From the Next-Gen Data Set Editor, edit the data set settings and configurations from the heading options.
- To view and edit the data set objects:
- Diagram View – Displays an interactive entity relationship diagram (ERD) of the data set objects, which is the main body of the editor. Clicking on any of the objects opens the Object View while clicking the gear icon on the relationship arrows opens the Relationship View.
- Object View – Arranges the data set object details on tabs in the expandable side panel. All editing of data set objects takes place in the object view. The Relationship View is accessible from the Related tab by clicking on the gear icon of any selected related object while the Field View is accessed through the same method on the Fields tab.
- Relationship View – Displays the data set object relationship configurations between two objects in the extendable side panel.
- Field View – Displays the data set object field configurations in the extendable side panel.
