Summary

With each release, Prodly strives to improve our product and deliver the results and features our users need to make their work easier and more efficient. Our release notes are available to our users to review our most anticipated feature releases including requests and suggestions provided by our customers and updates on our latest bug fixes. 

What we are most excited about

Highlights from our latest release

  • Destructive Metadata Changes
    • Toggle to enable/disable destructive metadata changes added to Settings
    • Toggle to allow destructive metadata changes in Production added to Settings
    • Pre/Post destructive changes option added when comparing if deletes are enabled
    • Components that are ‘In Destination Only’ can be selected for deployment (destructive)
    • ‘Will Deploy’ and ‘Will Delete’ icon added to components in bundles table
    • Pre/Post destructive changes option added for bundles
    • Operation column in results table will now show ‘Delete’
    • Tooltip will appear if component is not present in source and destructive changes are disabled
    • Redeploy will support destructive changes
    • If parent component is a deletion, children will be selected for deletion and a tooltip will appear
    • Deploy button will be disabled when deploying a bundle with destructive changes and the deletion toggle is disabled
    • Confirmation step when deploying with destructive changes

  • Metadata Enhancements: Files
    • Files that cannot be compared because of size or unsupported file types can now be downloaded via the ‘download’ button
    • Files will show in metadata tree format
    • File View toggle added inside the compare table- subcomponents will be hidden in this view and breadcrumbs added to navigate back to the tree view
    • Files can now be compared through the diff view
  • Metadata Enhancements: Deploy to multiple destinations
    • When deploying Metadata bundles up to 5 destinations can be selected at a time

  • PM-6137 Transforming an object will not require the source object to exist in the destination org
  • PM-6083 No errors should appear when validating a valid query override on the Deploy page
  • PM-5890 Set random value will work as expected for Person Accounts when deploying with NextGen 
  • PM-5264 Meaningful message added when Metadata Filter does not return components
  • PM-4307 Unsupported objects will not be available for selection for Monitoring Rules 
  • PM-3052 Data Sets tab added to navigation bar within the Release tab for V1 of the new Data Set Editor
