Though our last major release was just in October, the Prodly AppOps product team has created this shorter-cycle release now to better align with the Salesforce release cycle dates. The new features provide a richer, more intuitive experience, helping you be more productive. This topic provides brief descriptions of the new features. Refer to AppOps Release: Help Topics and AppOps Test: Help Topics for details of all features, old and new.
AppOps Release
Bitbucket Cloud Integration
Prodly’s new change management feature enables admins to track reference data changes made within a Salesforce org and easily maintain versions of the data now using the Atlassian Bitbucket and GitHub version control system (VCS) frameworks.
Usability Improvements
- On the management board, the information on the cards has been reorganized and improved for clarity.
- Status notifications now remain on the screen a full 10 seconds, allowing you more time to read them.
- Messages have been added to clarify what is happening when and why.
- To avoid constant excessive load times, the management board now has a manual refresh icon in the upper right. Use it to update the board if you are moving back and forth between the AppOps Release, Connections, and other Salesforce tabs.
AppOps Test
Test Run Notification
AppOps Test now sends you an email upon completion of each scheduled test run.
Keep Created Records for Amend and Renew Functions
For amend and renew test case creation, creating a test case includes creating a quote record and an opportunity record as part of capturing the baseline values. You can now choose to retain (not automatically discard) these created records.
Usability Improvements
- On the Test Cases page, the Baseline Status column now shows the updated status when you initiate a baseline values refresh.
- We’ve added text to the New Test Case page with specific instructions for each function.
- The New Test Run page now warns you when you’ve reached the scheduled test runs limit.
- Status notifications now remain on the screen a full 10 seconds, allowing you more time to read them.
- Messages have been added to clarify what is happening when and why.
Salesforce API Support
The Prodly AppOps platform has been upgraded to support Salesforce API v50 (Winter ‘21).
