Deployment plans allow you to halt in-progress deployments when a batch or record fails to deploy.

To instruct Release to halt a deployment:

1. From the deployment plan details page, in the Deployment Plan Steps section, at the right end of the row containing the step you desire to halt, click the dropdown arrow and select Edit.
2. To instruct Release to terminate the entire deployment when a batch in a step fails to deploy, select Stop After A Batch Failure.
3. To instruct Release to terminate the entire deployment when a record in a step fails to deploy, select Stop After A Record Failure.
4. Click Save.
