Overview
A metadata bundle is a handy package of pre-configured metadata, all set for transferring to any other managed environment.
Users can run a comparison of selected items and save this configuration for future deployments. It entails preparing a comprehensive metadata list ahead of time, ensuring it’s ready for deployment at the precise moment.
With the use of Metadata Bundles, the need to manually run comparisons during the Deploy process is eliminated. Users are able to compare and save metadata bundles, selecting them in a manner similar to selecting a data set. Components are displayed in the diff viewer, and the saved Bundles can be readily accessed for future deployments through the deploy tab, once they are saved in the compare tab. This streamlined approach enhances the ease and efficiency of the deployment process, reducing time consumption and simplifying the redeployment process.
