To build a new data set:

  1. From the Next-Gen Data Set Editor in the Release tab side navigation panel, click Create a Data Set in the top right of the page.
  2. In the Create a Data Set box, enter a name that will be used to reference your data set.
  3. The data set editor needs to know which schema to use when you select objects and fields for deployment. By default, Prodly uses the schema from your control org. To select the schema from a different org to use during data set creation, select one of the existing connections in the Schema list.
  4. Select an object for your data set from the list of the Salesforce standard and custom objects to use as your root object. The object, its fields, and all objects with relationships to the root object become eligible for inclusion in the data set.
  5. Click Create

When a Data Set is created, a new view of your Data Set will appear with the root object shown in the side panel called the Object view.

  1. In the Settings tab of the root object, select your desired Record Matching Method from the drop-down list. Refer to Record Matching Methods for more information.

  2. Select the desired properties for the entire data set and the root data set object that pertain to your use case.

  3. Click the Fields tab.

  4. The All Fields toggle is automatically selected, or you can deselect it and choose individual fields as needed.

  5. Click the Related tab.
