Release Settings

The Settings tab in Release gives you control over how your team deploys, integrates, and manages data across environments. Here’s a breakdown of everything you can set up.

Version Control Integration

Connect to your version control system (like GitHub or Bitbucket) to deploy directly to branches and create pull requests. Once connected, you can:

Set Default Branch Folders

Choose where metadata and data should be placed by default.

Whitelist Branches

Whitelist additional branches from your repo to deploy directly to them from inside Prodly.

Choose Data Format

Decide whether data moved into a branch should be stored as CSV or JSON.

Work Management Integration

Hook up your work management system or a custom object from Salesforce and choose whether your deployments and bundles require a work item be linked before deploying.

Destructive Changes

Control how Prodly handles deletions during deployments:

• Allow metadata deletions
• Allow data deletions when using version control or Next Gen.
• Allow deletions in Production

Individual Record Results

Choose whether to store all, only failed or no deployment result records.
