In the Next-Gen Data Set Editor, in the Object view, use the Settings tab to configure the attributes and options that pertain to each data set element.
Object Settings Tab
The Settings tab found in the Object View displays the attributes and options that pertain to the currently selected data set element:
- Record Matching Method – Specifies the record matching method to use during deployment.
- Record Selection Criteria – Displays these optional record selection criteria:
- Query Filter – Specifies an optional SOQL query WHERE clause of up to 950 characters that determines which source data records to copy during deployment.

- Processing Options – Displays the optional processing settings:
- Bulk Batch Size – Specifies the maximum number of records to deploy in each deployment batch.
- Replicate Owner – When checked, Prodly maintains the record owner from the source environment. When unchecked, Prodly assigns the record to the username that was used to authenticate the destination environment.
Select a Deployment Object
The Root Object (Deployment Object) is only selectable when creating a new data set. To select a deployment object for the root data set object:
- From the Next-Gen Data Set main page, click on the Create a Data Set button in the upper right corner.
- In the Deployment Object list, select the Salesforce object to use as the basis of the data set object. A picklist shows all the Salesforce objects available in the schema that are accessible, queryable, and can either be updated or inserted by Prodly as the root object. The objects are sorted alphabetically.
Only Salesforce itself can create some objects. Refer to Standard Object Considerations for more information. All objects with relationships to the root object’s deployment object are eligible and available for inclusion in the data set from the Related tab on the root object’s Object view.
