What is Advanced Dependency Management?

Advanced Dependency Management enables the deployment of components without including parts that reference other components you either choose to exclude or that are unavailable in the destination environment. For instance, when deploying a Profile that contains subcomponents referencing a missing Custom Field, the deployment will succeed by omitting those references, avoiding the typical failure that would occur.

Prodly supports the following metadata types:

• Permission Sets

How to use Advanced Dependency Management

After comparing two environments, choose the component you wish to deploy. If the metadata type is supported, an information icon will appear next to the group title to indicate this. If the selected component references any missing components, Prodly will split the file and reassemble it during deployment, excluding subcomponents that rely on the missing references.
